The Susan Hash Literacy Initiative was founded to honor Susan Hash’s lifelong devotion to education and her belief that literacy is a gateway to opportunity. Guided by her passion for learning, the initiative works to expand access to reading and educational resources for people of all backgrounds and ages.

The Sandy Public Library, with the assistance of the City of Sandy, Hoodland residents, grants, and you!, is purchasing a Mobile Library vehicle. With it, the Library can expand its reach - to citizens of all ages and in all corners of the Sandy and Hoodland Library service areas, beyond our physical buildings. Your donation will help fund the custom fitting out of the vehicle, to allow holding STEM and computer classes, computer use and printing services, and programs, in addition to displaying and delivering library materials.
